Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG), a leading management consulting firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst for an upcoming opportunity with the NY Department of Education. This position will be located near New York/New Jersey and surrounding Area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

As a key member of our team, the Business Analyst will define, coordinate, monitor and validate requirements during development, system, and user acceptance testing. This position meets with project directors and clients to understand and document business requirements and works to understand client priorities for the work requested. The role will conduct traceability of requirements through documentation, input into project management system JIRA, development, system testing, UAT, and implementation to Production. The role will also write test scripts and conduct testing phases, to ensure a seamless transition of functionality from conception to product delivery.
In addition, this role will develop and document BA and QA standard operating procedures, and work with the technology team at large to institute process improvements to existing processes.
