Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients' recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.

This is an incredible opportunity for a driven Individual Contributor - Manager of Benefits to embrace a hybrid work schedule while spearheading the administration of employee benefit programs. This role demands a wealth of knowledge in managing medical, dental, and vision benefits, alongside retirement plans, overseeing leaves of absence, disability programs, and workers' compensation administration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all benefits, retirement, and related plans and programs adhere to legal requirements and company policies.

  • Subject matter expert for benefit updates across all 50 states.
  • Oversee and manage the design and administration of the company's entire health and welfare benefit plans including enrollment process to ensure that all benefit requirements and eligibility is maintained
  • Responsible for on-going analysis, billing reconciliations and complex issue resolution for all benefits plans, processes, systems and vendors
  • Responsible for 401(k) plan administration and plan compliance
  • Coordinate and manage annual benefits renewal and open enrollment activities
  • Responsible for the data integrity, accuracy, and maintenance of all benefits related data and reports
  • Provide proactive and excellent customer service to employees in benefits-related education and communications
  • Partner with benefits broker to ensure competitive benefit offerings
  • Manage the relationship with insurance carriers and third party vendors
  • Manage leave of absence programs, engaging HR Business Partners for needed support
  • Manage Workers' compensation administration, in partnership with the Environmental Health and Safety team and, engaging HR Business Partners for needed support
  • Collaborates with third party vendors on various projects as needed
  • Ability to ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.
  • Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required or equivalent experience
  • 5- 7 years' experience in benefits administration including 401(k) retirement plans; leave of absence and workers compensation
  • Knowledge of all pertinent federal and 50 state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, COBRA, ACA and Social Security and DOL requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of benefit plan designs.
  • Ability to understand, evaluate and make judgment on the proposals (RFPs).
  • Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong organizational skills, along with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with HR Business Partners or HR team members in a collaborative and effective manner

Potential Hiring Range:

  • Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000/ year
  • Salary offered is dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
