Required Certification(s):
* Associates Degree in Computer Science, IT or 4+ years IT domain knowledge experience.
* Security+ Certification (DoD 8570 Level 2 or higher)
* Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSA) or Equivalent certification
SUMMARY Agile Defense has an immediate need of hiring a Windows System Admin Level 2 to work at Shaw AFB in Sumter, SC.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operate, maintain, administer and manage Enterprise systems server and client hardware, software, applications and services.
* Provide Tier 2 technical support.
* Install, configure, operate, manage, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, inspect and maintain server systems (physical and virtual).
* Manage and administer user accounts, profiles and access.
* Monitoring user access and adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure a secure operating environment.
* Monitor workstation and server logs for errors and failures and perform appropriate troubleshooting and maintenance.
* Provide technical assistance for assigned projects.
* Provide desktop, server and software application integration support.
* Operate and maintain monitoring and analysis tools; and detect, analyze and resolve platform, infrastructure and system problems.
* Monitor, control, and report on system performance, utilization, and capacity. Report vulnerabilities/deficiencies to government representatives
* Evaluate architecture, research technologies, and recommend hardware/software upgrades/replacements (COTS) to government representatives.
* Assist with the tracking and management of COTS licenses, warranties, service level agreements renewals for systems equipment and software
* Coordinate with program offices/vendors and implement approved hardware/software changes/upgrades as directed
* Update and maintain systems/server configuration and connectivity drawings, diagrams, and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS Required Certifications
* Associates Degree in Computer Science, IT or 4+ years IT domain knowledge experience.
* Security+ Certification (DoD 8570 Level 2 or higher)
* Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSA) or Equivalent certification
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* 6+ years of experience in IT field or related area

* Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written)

WORKING CONDITIONS Environmental Conditions
* General office environment, with periodic walking or driving to other buildings on base and working with standard office equipment. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, with no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
Strength Demands
* Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
