UC Riverside's Auxiliary Facilities Services is recruiting for a Facilities Operations Assistant. The full salary range for the Facilities Operations Assistant is $28.44 - $40.76 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $33.39 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, the Facilities Operations Assistant provides operational, administrative and service support in the Auxiliary Facilities Services Department. Provides administrative support to unit on scheduling, calendar management and organizational needs. Intakes, triages, assigns and follows up on work requests in FAMIS 360 to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards. In conjunction with unit supervisors, creates and oversees housing turnover master schedules and quality control mechanisms. Delivers high quality service via phone, on-line, email, and in person; follows up on customer concerns to ensure successful closure. Assists with leading student staff; provides training, guidance, and directs workflow. Works with procurement to ensure clear vendor communication and timely invoicing and payment. Maintains compliance of various safety inspections and other reporting/record-keeping requirements; organizes records, files and departmental logs. Assists with ordering of office supplies, staff uniforms and other work items. Applies organizational skills and attention to detail to be able to work successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Provides data and reports to Auxiliary Facilities Administration for departmental metrics and budget.
