Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst Co-pilot for Nature's Bounty is essential in driving profitable growth for the Broadline and Optimal Solutions divisions. This role supports the Sr. Finance Manager and collaborates with marketing, sales, supply chain, and other key functions to enhance the Monthly Business Planning process and ensure accurate forecasts and P&L management. Responsibilities include monitoring actual spend versus budget, conducting cost analyses, and identifying potential variances across the P&L. By delivering timely and insightful financial analysis on distribution opportunities and profitability throughout the planning cycle, this position will optimize business performance and drive process improvements.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Support product innovation/renovation projects by working on P&L scenarios
  • Manage full P&L budget through continuous interactions with sales and marketing teams, including reviewing available funds, monthly phasing for forecasting accuracy, validating/approving budget changes, and Pricing vs RIG analysis
  • Partner with Finance Operations and Supply Chain teams to optimize costs
  • Support & ensure accurate monthly P&L forecasts through active participation in the monthly business planning meetings, trade, and inputting forecasts into FIT Tool for reporting
  • Provide strategic direction to cross functional teams to drive right MC/product mix
  • Support Period End Close (PEC) processes: Ensure P&L financial integrity/accuracy, perform variance analysis to inform future forecasting (YTD performance/YTG forecasting), create financial reports, and assist in creating presentations to support business needs
  • Continually evaluate and challenge processes and reporting practices; implementing changes as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA a plus
  • 3+ years' experience in Finance Management &/or Accounting
  • Background in consumer products, manufacturing environment a plus
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Experience using SAP
  • Knowledge of the principles of cost accounting and activity-based costing

The approximate pay range for this position is $87,000- $105,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
