As a Security Officer - Cleared Armed DOD in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an armed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This post requires carrying a firearm. You will interact with personnel and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Your role supports a culture built on teamwork, reliability, and integrity, contributing to a secure environment through proactive engagement and a caring approach.

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret

$29.00 / Hour - Top Secret

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, particularly in areas related to aerospace and defense operations.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or observations according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas roles.
• An active Department of Defense Clearance is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
