Your role

Support the growth of Power Technique's Aftermarket by delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for portable air compressors, dewatering pumps, and generators.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical skills and/or technical education
  • Own tools or willingness to invest in a basic tool set

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality repairs and preventive maintenance on Atlas Copco and multi-brand equipment
  • Diagnose equipment failures and support fellow technicians
  • Complete technical tests and procedures with written documentation
  • Deliver excellent customer service through effective communication and professionalism
  • Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
  • Maintain and provide basic tools for the job
  • Operate pressure washing equipment for cleaning machinery and tools
  • Accurately follow verbal and written instructions
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently
  • Use basic computer skills for task logging and accessing job information
  • Assist with loading/unloading equipment
  • Drive company vehicles as needed (valid driver's license required)
To succeed, you will need

Experience:

  • This is an entry level position and requires a minimum of 2 years* experience performing service on major brand equipment and engines, and including electronic engine diagnosis and troubleshooting experience or completion of a Diesel Equipment Technology program.
  • Previous experience with Cummins, John deere, etc, Preferred but not necessary. Factory training will be provided for qualified candidates

Education:

  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Electrical and/or Energy Storage certification is a plus

Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on engine and equipment repairs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with internal and external customers
  • Comfortable working in extreme environmental conditions
  • Professional demeanor and company representation
  • Independent decision-making and creative problem-solving
  • Highly self-motivated with a commitment to quality
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Mechanical aptitude, good character, and effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in email etiquette, Excel, and electronic parts systems

Job location

You will be part of our customer center in Broadview Heights OH. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, United States (US).
