As Regional Sales Director you are responsible for directing and leading the commercial strategy and business development team for the Preform Regulatory/Specialty Segment. You will lead the sales strategy for an assigned territory while being responsible for meeting sales targets, achieving revenue, increasing market share and profitability. You will report to the Sales Director, Traffic Solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the strategic business plan ensuring the budget execution in terms of Sales, Profit Contribution, Overhead and EBIT.
- Drive strong utilization of Salesforce.com software, develop and execute a strong pipeline of projects.
- Drive strong utilization of SAP Integrated Business Planning tool for demand planning requirement.
- Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
- Lead, manage and promote the sales team, communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Ensure an understanding of customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the leadership team that able to take proper and anticipated decisions.
- Support the commercial and planning team to guarantee the execution of the sales forecast, seeking to meet the short, medium and long-term needs and demands of the business.
- Participate in accomplishing the working capital targets, through a strong forecast maintaining healthy inventory levels, with a high discipline on the collection process.
- Ensure compliance with the regulations and policies established by the control and legal entities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business, plus five (5) or more years of sales experience
- Masters' Degree in Marketing or Business, a plus
- Demonstrated comfort with making decisions in a fast-paced environment with insufficient information
- Experience with Microsoft BI or other enterprise data visualization tools
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Traverse, SAP IBP, enterprise CRM
