How you'll make an impact:

We are looking for a sharp, strategic Business Case Senior Analyst to join our Transformation Office to drive the day-to-day execution of our transformation effort. In this role, you'll help evaluate and shape critical transformation initiatives that span our content strategy, operating model, and product offerings. Your work will directly inform executive decisions by grounding big ideas in clear financial logic, strategic rationale, and measurable outcomes. You will take ownership of specific workstreams and will coach initiative owners to develop and execute effective improvement plans while role-modeling a mindset of rapid decision-making.

You will inspire others, build strong relationships and display high energy and resilience in ambiguous and fast-paced contexts.

What You'll Do:

  • Coach initiative owners on building business cases and finance assumptions working on a wide range of initiatives from platform modernization and AI integration to content strategy shifts and new operating models.
    • Conduct regular group and 1:1 coaching for Initiative Owners on building business cases
    • Problem-solve and pressure-test business case assumptions together with initiative owners, including how to build strong logic for each assumption.
    • Work with Initiative Owners and Finance team to ensure consistent approach to valuation of initiative impact (including validating all initiative business cases)
    • Model various investment and implementation scenarios to assess ROI, break-even timelines, and risk-adjusted outcomes.
    • Partner with teams across Product, Tech, Content, Marketing, and Finance to define value levers, cost drivers, and success metrics.
  • Track and validate the financial impact of portions of the Transformation
    • Perform financial tracking of progress against value delivery commitments and segregate the financial impact of the Transformation from baseline performance
    • Assist the TO Finance in resolving resource allocation, project management, financial and risk issues
    • Create and run reports on progress of the financial impact of the Transformation as required
    • Mine dashboards and tracking mechanisms to monitor initiative performance against plan and support agile decision-making.
  • Contribute to Transformation Office frameworks and tools that standardize how we evaluate and communicate value creation opportunities.
    • Document and codify valuation methodologies and processes.
  • Help get new ideas off the ground by performing early valuation of nascent ideas that may not have Initiative Owners yet
    • Develop frameworks for evaluating new ideas and actively develop business cases for new ideas
    • Perform due diligence and research for potential new ideas
    • Meet with business leaders to get input and guidance
    • Package and present idea opportunity to TO for acceptance into Catalyst

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Media, or a related field (MBA or Master's a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, FP&A, or transformation at a media, tech, or digital-first company.
  • Strong financial background with clear ability to develop robust financial business cases complete with P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statements.
  • Familiarity with digital KPIs (e.g., MAU, LTV, CAC), tech cost structures, and content economics.
  • Strong modeling and analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency; experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Anaplan, SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytical and conceptual problem solving; comfort with quantitative analysis and managerial accounting
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $100,000 - $105,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
