Job Description:

Job Summary
  • Supports Tech Op Supply Chain programs and works on priorities based on business objectives. Coordinates aircraft part movements between Southwest and the repair vendor as well as researches and resolves invoice discrepancies and builds and maintains positive relationships with suppliers

Responsibilities
  • Review warranty orders to determine the status and whether to dispute quotes and close once review is complete
  • Review and audit repair service and purchasing contracts to update in CDCS (Computerized Data Collection System)
  • Adhere to the repairs process specified in (assigned) ATA chapter
  • Execute automated process to import missing warranty data in CDCS
  • Administer monthly reporting for metrics, IME (Invoice Matching Exceptions), and Customer Damage Presentations
  • Assure contractual compliance and manage supplier performance
  • Develop knowledge of what is involved in repair process and continues to build knowledge with experience
  • Begins development of knowledge to effectively read technical documents and comprehend compliance requirements.
  • Collaborates with the designated analyst to address incoming part discrepancies.
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Fundamental understanding of supply chain management/lifecycle
  • Ability to Communicate in a clear and logical manner with internal/external Customers
  • Ability to Share status and other relevant information regarding parts to all Stakeholders
  • Ability to access, read and understand contract language from enterprise contracts repository
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate messages/requests
  • Ability to demonstrate good time management skills; act with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to establish personal best practices to manage responsibilities
  • Ability to support and provide assistance to other Team Members and lean in when necessary
  • Basic Knowledge of locating appropriate information in the Maintenance Procedures Manual (MPM)
  • Ability to gather feedback from others in order to get real- time feedback and make necessary decisions
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Entry level experience, developing skills and knowledge in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Warranty processing and supplier communication
    • Finance/accounting
    • System navigation with various IT systems (e.g. SAP ERP/VIM, Ariba, Boeing Toolbox, Maintenix, Aeroxchange, QuickBase, Alteryx, Tableau)

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use a computer with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
  • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive market salary from $61,850.00-68,700.00* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
