About the Role

Responsible for supporting the implementation of the Pottery Barn Kids social media strategy across all channels through influencers; leverage understanding of company and related industry trends to engage and enhance the brand community; drive innovation and grow KPIs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Plan and execute brand social media initiatives:

  • Influencer Partnerships:
    • Updating Social Content and Partner Trackers Weekly
    • Communicating with partners and keeping informed on deliveries, etc.
  • Content:
    • Shoot & Edit Social-First Video for Social, Site & Email Channels
    • Schedule branded content via Bazaarvoice
    • Push Content Live Across Channels
    • Interact with consumer facing content - DMs, Tagged UGC, responding to comments (non-customer service facing)
  • Paid Social:
    • Support team with all paid social media requests, ie weekly meeting recaps, coordination of creative assets and communication with marketing team pre and postproduction
    • Gather all Paid Social for weekly updates and uploading
  • Reporting:
    • Weekly Trend Report showcasing industry trends, best practices and competitive activity across content, content creators, influencers and brand ambassadors
    • Weekly and Quarterly Organic Social Metrics across all Channels
  • Manage UGC Content:
    • Across weekly moderation, UGC reporting, supporting UGC expansion across organic and product seeding
    • Partner with vendors to increase UGC presence, approve and upload UGC to appropriate website stream

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of social media, content and/or online brand marketing experience
  • Significant project management experience
  • Undergraduate degree required, concentration in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism or related communications field preferred
  • Editorial experience in branded content or copywriting
  • Actively involved in social media space, with a proven understanding of how to use social media tools to effectively listen, communicate, and build relationships
  • Hands-on experience with online communities and social networking sites in a professional capacity, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and other emerging platforms
  • Basic familiarity with Photoshop and experience creating graphics for visual-based platforms like Pinterest
  • Technical understanding of existing digital platforms, emerging technologies, and integration strategies
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to successfully interact directly with customers and members of the community in a public forum
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective relationships with all levels within the company
  • Effective time and project management skills, with ability to organize and prioritize efficiently
  • Highly creative and self-motivated, with strong conceptual and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience using social media tools like Sprinklr and Curalate for scheduling content and reporting performance

The expected starting pay range for this position is $65,000-$70,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
