DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To manage the full recruiting life cycle for assigned positions, ensuring the company hires and retains a workforce of passionate and highly skilled employees



RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

*Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (UKGPro) to review resumes/applications against specific selection criteria, properly disposition candidates, conduct telephone pre-screens of qualified candidates, schedule interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers, extend employment offers, process pre-employment checks, and adhere to all applicable legal requirements

*Collaborate with managers to gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of their departments and the specific hiring needs for each role

*Maintain activity with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find quality candidates

*Partner with leadership to design and implement innovative recruitment strategies

*Analyze, plan, and execute community outreach including but not limited to developing relationships with schools/colleges, diversity groups, and professional organizations

*Attend career fairs and employment events, as well as hosting groups and events to highlight Pride's workplace and strengthen awareness of the organization in the community

*Assist in managing Human Resources' organizational web presence and messaging

*Assist with drafting job descriptions for new positions and updating existing ones as needed

*Consistently build and strengthen relationships for the entirety of the employee life cycle

*Collaborate with team members to assist in planning and coordinating employee events inclusive of expense analysis and management, reporting, and event execution

*Assist and act as the backup for New Hire Orientation and Exit Interviews

*Maintain a strong knowledge of company policies, procedures, and current company activities to answer questions from employees in a timely and accurate manner

*Help ensure that all company policies and procedures are uniformly followed and enforced

*Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

*Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training

*Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

*Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

*Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

PREFERRED SKILLS

*Bilingual in English and Spanish (ability to fluently speak/read/write) preferred



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 3 years of experience in a talent acquisition/recruiting role, including attending networking events and job fairs, building applicant pools, screening applicants, conducting interviews, hiring, and managing the full life cycle of a candidate



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 1 year of experience developing/writing effective recruiting, employee messaging and/or job descriptions preferred

*At least 1 year of experience planning and coordinating employee events preferred



REQUIRED EDUCATION

*Bachelor's Degree in a Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a Business-related field, OR and Associate degree in a Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a Business-related field with at least 6 years of the required experience, OR High School Diploma or GED with at least 12 years of the required experience



PREFERRED EDUCATION

*Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Communications preferred



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
