Waste Connections is currently hiring for a Roll Off Truck Driver at our hauling location in Monroe, Louisiana. This is a full-time, physically active position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. We're looking for safety-conscious individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a dependable, team-driven environment. Position Details: Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays Start Time: 5:30 AM Hours: 10-11 hours per day Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Primary Responsibilities: Safely operate a roll off truck to pick up and transport waste containers from residential and commercial locations Follow route sheets and instructions provided by dispatch to ensure timely and complete service Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance such as checking fluids, lights, and tires Operate hydraulic controls to lift, secure, and empty containers in a safe and efficient manner Work independently in a physically demanding environment, including loading and unloading without assistance as needed Maintain courteous and professional interactions with customers Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Requirements: Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no manual restriction Clean driving record with a minimum of 1 year of roll off driving experience Why Work for Waste Connections?
