Job Type UnclassifiedDepartment TransportationAbout the Position The Materials Testing Technician performs a wide array of important quality assurance testing on transportation project materials. Working in both the laboratory and out in the field, conducts materials testing, inspections, research, and investigations of construction materials, all while applying methodologies commonly accepted in roadway and bridge construction and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with established standards, specifications, and provisions. Working Conditions This position may require lifting or exerting 50-100 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds constantly.
