Human Resources Intern

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team in a variety of administrative and operational functions. This role offers hands-on experience in day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. The intern will also assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
• Support onboarding and offboarding procedures for new hires and departing employees.
• Help maintain HR records and ensure employee files are up-to-date and compliant with company policy and legal requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of HR reports and data entry into HR systems.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communications.
• Support compliance efforts by helping track mandatory training and policy acknowledgments.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned (e.g., handbook updates, employee surveys, process improvements).

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS is a plus.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong interpersonal skills.
