Description and Requirements

The Portfolio Enablement Specialist will be fully engaged to support our Sales Team and accelerate growth of Lenovo SSG Advanced Services. This individual will collaborate with field and internal sales teams, product teams, and marketing to increase services sales opportunities, thereby maximizing revenue and profit for the SSG organization. They will enable our sellers with the information, programs, tools, and skills needed to achieve the organization target

Responsibilities include new portfolio recommendations, pricing strategies, programs, and education/training tactics. The candidate will drive services enablement for all channels, working closely with sales counterparts on go-to-market strategies and providing thought leadership as a services consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for SSG Sustainability/Advanced Services: Serve as an evangelist for SSG Sustainability/Advanced Services in North America, presenting to internal teams, external partners, and customers.

  • Own the product business management system (BMS) and operating cadence for specific product lines to drive growth across all target segments.

  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy in all geo-appropriate systems and tools.

  • Pre-Sales Support: Act as a North America pre-sales support representative for direct and indirect sales reps and business partners.

  • Training & Development: Provide individualized and group training to sellers, and participate in sales events as needed.

  • Best Practices Sharing: Share best practices across the team with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Program Management: Manage multiple programs simultaneously with a drive for results attitude.

  • Process Development: Adapt quickly in the absence of a process, build a repeatable process, document it, acquire cross-functional buy-in, and execute to completion.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent

  • Experience: 3+ years in product marketing or product management for technical products or equivalent (5+ years preferred)

  • Technical Knowledge: Servers, infrastructure, and solutions knowledge highly preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Exceptional strategic thinking and customer orientation.

    • Open and effective communication.

    • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to lead complex projects.

    • Strong presentation and communication skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex solutions into simple terms.

    • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.

    • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

    • Creative thinking and past business experience to provide innovative solutions.
