Pay Range: $32-38

Fabrication will include the ability to machine hardware and fixtures utilizing CNC Machines and Lathes to Engineering Drawing specifications.

Should also be able to work with Sheet Metal to fabricate boxes and panels when required.

In addition, these lower-level assemblies are to be built-up into single, or multi-bay cabinet assemblies, for the delivery to Engineering or Manufacturing Production areas.

This position will provide the opportunity for the candidate to work as individual contributor, in a team environment.

This would include collaborating with Engineers, and other members of the Fabrication team including other Fabricators, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors.

Required Experience:

- 5+ years of experience is required in other Mechanical fabrication environments including the use of CNC Machines and Lathes or maintenance of military design product.

- 5+ years of experience is required with fabricating mechanical equipment designed from a blueprint, schematic, and engineering guides.

- 5+ years of experience is required with communicating issues (both verbal and written) with the design and/or the process requirements to management and or engineers.

- 5+ years of experience is required with utilizing software tools and Microsoft products

- Must be able to determine the metal stretch with respect to the metal type and bend radius required.

- Ability to fabricate test equipment designs from a blueprint of the layout, schematic, bill of material, and engineering practices manual as guidelines.

- Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision

Desired Skills:

- Ability to program CNC's utilizing Catia based software

- Experience in procurement and acquisition of test materials

- Experience interpreting and building to Lockheed Martin Test Equipment engineering

- Prior experience in leadership positions a plus

Position is a minimum of 40 hours per week commitment with occasional overtime.
