Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in should-cost modeling to support cost analysis and optimization for helicopter components, including machined parts, electronics, structures, and composites. This role involves developing cost models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging with suppliers to ensure cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain should-cost models for helicopter components
*Conduct cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities
*Collaborate with design and procurement teams to influence cost-effective designs
*Engage with suppliers to validate cost models and negotiate pricing
*Support make/buy decisions with detailed cost assessments

Core Qualifications:
*3 - 15+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with focus on should cost and cost analysis
*Proficiency in should cost / estimation tools (aPriori, SEER)
*Well rounded understanding of various manufacturing processes and materials

Preferred Qualifications:
*Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
*Experience in aerospace or defense industries
*Knowledge of helicopter manufacturing processes
*Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and DFM principles
*Experience with supplier engagement, negotiation, and procurement
