The Opportunity: In this role, you will report to the supervisor of site services and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. Experience: 1+ years of customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling experience Collaboration Tool: Proficient in computer skills such as Microsoft Office and other systems as required. Perform job duties with the highest regard for safety and quality, and adherence to documented Avantor Scope of Work (SOW) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment. Communicate effectively with both internal and external teams. Pushing of wheeled carts stocked with items throughout the facility over long distances, as well as in difficult-to-navigate spaces. Ability to regularly and consistently lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. Spend a majority of the day standing and walking, role requirements are to be able to bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder height, crouch, kneel, balance, and push/pull. Proficient in communicating both verbally and in writing in English. Ability to utilize technology and proprietary software/hardware to perform the role. How will you thrive and create an impact Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group, serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role, you will: Supply Pro Program Support New user account creation and password resets Overdue laptop checkouts and follow-up Error recovery for laptops. Check-in/out errors Cabinet error recovery. (reboot and troubleshoot) Loading of new laptops in cabinets Laptop Serialization project. For 115 laptops F9 coverage to attend both Sort areas. Performance of mobile eye wash station preventative maintenance Dock 11 Haz waste removal and added IPA squeeze bottle preparation Receiving of products at customer dock or other shipping/receiving point, including unpacking and de-trashing of materials if necessary. Recording receipts of inventory against packing slips, including following up on any noted discrepancies. Maintaining accurate inventory levels both within Avantor storerooms and at customer areas where back-stock of consumables is stored. Transportation of consumables throughout the customer facility on wheeled carts and stocking of POU locations based on required inventory. Schedule for each POU may be multiple times per day, daily, or less frequently. Accurate transacting of stock quantities by item and location utilizing a scanner and proprietary software, and downloading of transactions into our system as required to verify records capture and order generation. Monitor and engage in regular POU audits for proper signage, including items, min/max levels, contact information, and maintain a record of changes to items and quantities as needed. Serve as the point person for customer communications of any inventory availability issues and/or concerns, as well as a defined escalation path. Support Special Projects such as tours and other non-standard activities onsite. Meet all scheduling requirements of the role, including performing any other duties/tasks assigned.
