Minimum Requirements |
Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' experience in study abroad administration and/or advising at the university/college level; and knowledge of best practices in education abroad. Preferred: experience working on student/faculty academic travel. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
- Evidence of excellent program management and advising skills and ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously within a demanding environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff, faculty, students, parents and other agencies and the community while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- Experience with online study abroad enrollment management systems, and university-level student information systems.
- Ability to think creatively, prioritize workload and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent written, verbal and aural communication skills including the ability to deliver professional presentations.
- Administrative skills, including strategic planning and evaluation, budgeting, and knowledge of public relations.
- Detail-oriented and knowledge of financial aid regulations and risk management.

Additional Comments Regarding Position |

Must be available and willing to work some weekends and/or after hours, including overnight travel. |
