Do you enjoy working in a plant environment? Do you have a mechanical aptitude with a positive attitude? If the answer is yes, we have a Plant Operator position for you at our Conyers, GA plant.

You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting processes and equipment in a facility producing and shipping various industrial gases.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • A strong mechanical aptitude

  • You are a Team player and flexible

  • Must be a self-starter and willing to work independently

  • A strong commitment to safety and, working as a team and operational excellence

  • Work within procedure-based systems to ensure ES&H compliance, quality assurance, reliability, and cost control

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • You will be a key member of the commissioning and startup Team

  • Adhere to safety and environmental requirements, plant operation skills, and process knowledge during the startup and commissioning of this new facility

  • Starting and stopping of equipment

  • Process optimization

  • Tanker loading and unloading

  • Routine maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Participation in the site safety program and continuous improvement projects

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

  • A High School diploma or GED is required

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production, processing, or chemical/ petrochemical environment is required or 4 years of military training in a technical field

  • Cryogenic plant experience is a preferred but is not required

  • A business degree is preferred but is not required

  • Participants in Skills USA are encouraged to apply

  • Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Availability to travel 10%

  • Must be willing to be on call to support 24x7 plant operations

  • A valid driver's license is required
