Who You Are: Versar Global Solutions is seeking a full-time Project Manager (PM) of Infrastructure Asset Maintenance, serving in a critical leadership role in the project management team supporting the Central Florida Expressway Authority. The PM is responsible for day-to-day management of CFX toll facilities along SR408, SR417, SR528, SR429, SR414 SR551, the CFX Headquarters Building, the former CFX office, and the E-PASS Service Centers in Orange County, Florida. This includes Toll Plaza and Building Maintenance, Electrical / Mechanical / Generator Systems and Emergency Repair and Incident Response. Working in cooperation with CFX's maintenance management, the PM has authority to make staffing, subcontracting, work planning, work needs, means and methods, and business decisions on behalf of Versar Global Solutions for maintenance services. This position is in Ocoee, FL. The PM is also the direct line of contact for all subcontractors and the first line for Quality Assurance on the project, covering:
- Development, and oversight of Quality Management Plan and processes.
- Oversight of all in-house personnel dedicated to the project and based full time at Versar Global Solutions' operations and maintenance (O&M) facility.
- Regular field audits of maintenance activities to continuously improve quality.
What You'll Do:
- Serves as the company's Project Manager and team leader for a single project performing routine maintenance of facility buildings and grounds maintenance, including electric, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, carpentry, generators, siding, flooring, and other general repair needs.
- Directs employees in the execution of client projects to include oversight of daily operations, logistics coordination, staff identification, third party claims, customer service requests, problem and conflict resolution, quality assurance, deliverable submission and other requirements defined under the client scope of services.
- Provides daily oversight of the company's facility maintenance operations to include resource allocation, activity scheduling, workload prioritization, issue resolution, customer service, and CFX client interface.
- Ownership and implementation of the company safety program to include updating the project safety plan, conducting safety training, regulatory compliance, and promoting the overall safe operation and culture of the company.
- Development of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans for on various types of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, to include routine, reactive and emergency services of facilities and its components.
- Oversight of personnel and subcontractors in the performance of field operations and maintenance activities. Ensures work is performed on time and within budget.
- Manages all aspects of scope, schedule, and budget to drive efficiency and financial success at the project level.
- Completion of deliverables and reporting requirements in accordance with the client contract and company requirements.
- Maximizes the use of company's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage work orders, capture production, perform quality control, and complete reports.
- Actively manage, focus on client's key performance measures to maintain positive relationships with the Central Florida Expressway Authority
- Actively track, monitor, research validity and compliance with subcontract agreements for all work on cycles
- Communicate with subcontractors and project team.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the project manager.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree plus seven (7) years of overall work experience; Associate's degree plus nine (9) years of overall work experience or 12 years of overall work experience in lieu of a degree. Engineering degree or Project Management Professional a plus.
- Five (5) years of directly applicable experience in a management position delivering asset maintenance, field operations management, or highway/roadway operations, building and/or facilities maintenance, or construction. Transportation, state, or local government experience a plus.
- Knowledge of elementary engineering principles and standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in building and/or facilities maintenance operations.
- Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings and plans.
- Knowledge of the federal, state, and departmental regulations applicable to the work, such as the proper use of safety equipment (i.e., shoes, hard hats, goggles, etc.), equipment operation, right of way operations, and materials handling.
- Ability to effectively present briefings/presentations to government personnel in senior leadership positions.
- Must be able to prioritize variable/fluctuating and demanding workload to include flexible work hours/days as needed to meet schedule.
- Must be able to professionally interact with customers of all levels.
- Fluent English reading and writing skills to be able to read and understand government guidance for day-to-day work requirements.
- Ability to stand, bend and reach for extended periods of time, bend, or stoop in confined spaces, climb ladders, walk for extended periods of time, work under stressful conditions, and move heavy objects.
- Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software, including the ability to develop and use spreadsheets.
- Possess and maintain a valid United States Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly
- Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work multiple shifts and varying hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to work along local roadways, interstates, and or/highways with commuter traffic passing by at varying rates of speed
- Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen

Compensation Expected Salary: $99,000 - $115,000 per year Versar Global Solutions is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
