The Role -

Amphenol Aerospace is seeking a Training Coordinator to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The successful candidate will work with management and employees to understand training needs, create an annual training plan, and be responsible for developing or procuring the training needed to ensure a knowledgeable employee base in compliance with state and federal laws and customer requirements.

The key responsibilities of the Training Coordinator include, but are not limited to:



  • Develop, schedule, and deliver training to small and large groups of employees
  • Training oversight of Apprenticeship Programs
  • Source and select third party training when training cannot be developed and taught internally
  • Develop and document all certification testing and training to meet requirements
  • Interact with outside agencies in the development of grant opportunities for training initiatives
  • Maintain annual training calendar
  • Maintain training records for internal and external audit purposes


Salary: $55,000 - $75,000

Location -



  • Sidney, NY

    • 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY
    • 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY




The Person -

The key skills and qualities of a Training Coordinator at Amphenol Aerospace:



  • Excellent project management, data collection & organizational skills
  • Ability to present to small and large groups
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to teach and engage learners
  • Good research skills to find reliable and relevant content for the learner
  • Fundamental knowledge of sciences, mathematics, statistics and engineering mechanics
  • MS Office proficiency (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Equivalent education/experience will be considered
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing with extensive computer usage
