Summary of Job Duties:General Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with the Provost's Office, academic units, and Institutional Research (IR) to ensure compliance with accreditation standards related to student learning and learning outcomes assessment and assist in the preparation of accreditation reports and self-studies
*Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of assessment plans for all academic programs and administrative units
*Provide training and workshops for faculty and staff on effective assessment practices and the use of assessment tools, in concert with instructional leaders, PDI training coordinator, CETL Director, Effective Teaching campus lead, and assessment team
*Coordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting of assessment data to support academic and administrative units in improving performance
*Develop and maintain an assessment calendar, tracking deadlines, and deliverables for academic programs and administrative units
*Serve as a resource to faculty and staff on assessment-related matters, providing guidance on the development and use of rubrics, surveys, and other assessment tools
*Participate in relevant shared governance committees and contribute to broader institutional effectiveness efforts
*Assist in the use of assessment data for institutional planning, including strategic planning and program review
*Collaborate with the Institutional Research office to oversee the course evaluation process
*Provide technical support and oversight of assessment management software/data repository
*Collaborate with faculty to create student-centered learning activities and assessments that align with institutional, program, and course learning outcomes
*Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in education, statistics, social sciences, business, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of qualitative and quantitative data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution in education, statistics, social sciences, business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a higher education or similar environment working in student learning assessment or related field
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical, survey, and data visualization software
