City of Hope is in search of a talented Staff Scientist to join a new and growing translational research laboratory focused on understanding the determinants of response and resistance to immune-based therapies in lymphoid malignancies. The Staff Scientist will play a foundational role in shaping a dynamic, collaborative, and high-impact research environment. Our research centers on cutting-edge multimodal cell-free DNA (cfDNA) profiling to identify molecular determinants of treatment response, and on leveraging patient samples and preclinical models to understand how these factors shape the tumor microenvironment and drive therapeutic resistance. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in bioinformatics and cancer genomics to help advance these research goals. The Staff Scientist will be responsible for the development and execution of major research projects, as well as the supervision and mentorship of junior laboratory staff. They will also be expected to collaborate with other researchers and make significant, original contributions toward the laboratory's scientific aims. As a successful candidate, you will:
