The School of Medicine and the Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri are seeking Nurse Practitioners - Specialty Care for multiple settings. These positions provide vital clinical support for the MU Department of Neurology & Sleep Disorders Clinic.

Opportunity Highlights:

Inpatient Role

* Full-time FTE: 13 12-hour shifts per month
* Schedule includes some weekend coverage
* Collaborative team of six NP/PAs in the Neurocritical Care Unit
* Flexible scheduling with multiple days off
* No call required
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide independent and collaborative care for neurological patients in an outpatient setting
* Communicate with physicians regarding clinical changes, diagnostic results, and symptomatology
* Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes
* Perform treatments and interventions, educate patients and families, and facilitate clinical research
* Utilize basic computer skills, problem-solving abilities, and adapt to varied work settings

Shift

Shift Type: Variable shift up to 40 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $90,251.20 - $147,284.80
Grade: PAT-012
University Title: NURSE PRACTITIONER - SPECIALTY CARE
