Genesis10 is currently seeking a Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Lead projects from inception through go live, managing the project lifecycle across business requirements, status reports, leading front to back UAT across users Collaborate with delivery leads on the creation of the solution roadmap and providing timely status of deliverables related to roadmap execution Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with business and technology stakeholders Support agile activities, including user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, product backlog grooming, and identifying key dependencies and risks Perform validation testing of reports/functionality prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support bug triage and help ensure resolution of defects meets customer requirements. Communicate effectively with developers and customers alike Requirements: 7 + years' experience as Business /Data Analyst. Experience in Trading/Banking technology will be an added plus Good understanding of data warehouse concepts Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Oracle SQL and other standard database query tools. Experience in data analysis, data mapping techniques. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Cognos) Experience with the Microsoft Suite of applications, including, MS_Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously Experience using Scrum and following Agile best practices Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and take lead on addressing issues Pay rate: $58.26 - $66.26 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
