Vice President, Transmission Line (South/East) - Power Delivery Division
Location: Flexible | Division: Power & Utilities | Reports to: SVP, Power Delivery

Leveraging proprietary design methodologies and advanced modeling tools, we overcome complex, site-specific constraints-accelerating project timelines and reducing costs.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Transmission Line (South/East) to lead our overhead transmission line group. This role is integral to the strategic and operational leadership of our Power Delivery business and will play a key role in shaping the future of our transmission services.

Strategic & Operational Leadership

    Provide technical, operational, and leadership oversight to the overhead transmission line group.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives across Power Delivery.
  • Lead resource planning and talent development aligned with business growth.
  • Ensure alignment with national and regional goals, including financial performance and operational excellence.

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Serve as a senior client liaison, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Participate in Power Delivery and National Power Group business development meetings.
  • Support proposal development, fee structuring, and strategic pursuits.
  • Analyze client organizations to identify opportunities for growth and deeper engagement.

Project & Financial Oversight

  • Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews, including earned value management and risk mitigation.
  • Approve Project Management Plans (PMPs) for large-scale projects (>$500,000).
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC processes and lead recurring project review meetings.

Operational Excellence

  • Set and monitor performance targets; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business processes and internal controls.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational efficiency.

Sales & Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and execute regional and market-specific sales strategies.
  • Lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and client acquisition.
  • Manage corporate marketing budgets and proposal development efforts.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform strategy and measure performance across key metrics.


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Power Delivery, with a focus on overhead transmission lines.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with project and operations management.

The pay range for this California position is $235,000- $250,00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
