Description
Summary: Assists in the development of the organization's compensation programs with a special focus on unionized jobs, including both clinical and non-clinical. Duties involve substantial analytics and compliance processes as they relate to compensation, market analysis, compensation structuring, and financial impact analysis. Assists the System Director of Compensation in union jobs strategic market analysis, and strategic internal pay structure management and administration in accordance with published policies, approved practices, and collective bargaining agreements. Responsibilities:
- Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
- Manages the union jobs salary structure, shift differentials, and premium pay in accordance with collective bargaining agreements
- Utilizes INFOR GHR ERP system, evaluates and audits jobs and application of existing classifications to individuals, and assists in making the necessary periodic updates
- Monitors necessary compensation adjustments according to collective bargaining agreements *Audits and performs employee records and work assignments accordingly based on scheduled adjustments and changes
- Monitors planned promotions or transfers according to collective bargaining agreements *Conducts bi-annual primary research method through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), open records, Consolidated Annual Financial Reports (CAFR), and Securities and Exchange Commission published reporting
- Provides full assistance in the development and integration project of INFOR systems for all union jobs
- Identifies healthcare competition and gathers appropriate data
- Provides full support as needed to other members of the compensation team
- Assists in the management of multiple cross-functional projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned by compensation and human resources leadership
