Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Junior Logistics Manager supporting a high-priority acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC) at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.

AFLCMC/HNC provides lifecycle management for information assurance (IA) and other critical cyberspace systems. The division's mission includes technology development, acquisition, sustainment, and demilitarization of cybersecurity systems to ensure secure warfighter access to critical systems and to deny access to adversaries. This division also supports a wide range of Air Force, DoD, and national systems vital to force protection and intelligence operations.



Responsibilities

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.

The individual shall be capable of supporting and executing the following requirements:

    Advise, perform, and lead logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, evaluating, and executing logistics actions in support of weapons systems or mission requirements.

  • Identify critical logistics requirements (e.g., funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services).

  • Plan and align logistics actions with applicable policies, procedures, and acquisition guidance.

  • Develop and implement logistics requirements in support of an Integrated Product Team (IPT).

  • Analyze alternative courses of action to adjust for funding or schedule changes.

  • Ensure asset management and material accountability compliance with policies and regulations.

  • Support or lead supply chain risk management (SCRM) and supply chain assurance initiatives.

  • Conduct or contribute to a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA).

  • Support or lead the development or revision of a Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).

  • Implement and manage a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) program.

  • Apply knowledge of DoD 5000, Product Support Business Case Analysis, and Product Support Manager Guidebook.

  • Understand and apply the twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and related acquisition interdependencies.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) for logistics management and reporting.



Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Level Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Education: BA/BS Degree in related field

Years of Experience: Up to 5 years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle (DoDI 5000 series)

  • Understanding of Product Support Manager Guidebook and IPS elements

  • Asset management and SCRM knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking capability
