Summit Bodyworks in Fort Lupton is a premier builder of mobile display vehicles, mobile medical, law enforcement and other specialty vehicles! Summit Bodyworks has an immediate opening for a Vehicle Support Specialist. The Vehicle Support Specialist will provide customer and technical support for vehicles including systems and upfit components installed by SBW. Over time, the Vehicle Support Specialist is expected to learn the systems with assistance from the CX Service Manager and the Production Team to solve technical issues during the training period.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide customer technical support for vehicles, systems and upfit components installed by SBW.
• Learn the vehicle systems (electrical and HVAC) and other mechanical and manufactured components.
• Provide direct troubleshooting guidance to customers.
• Respond to escalated issues with a quick and accurate resolution.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Climbing in and out of vehicles
• Occasional stooping and bending
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 45 lbs.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
• 5+ years of direct service technician experience, including mechanical and electrical diagnostic expertise.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

• Compensation Range: $24.00 - $28.00
