Experiential Designer, Global Experiential Marketing Job Description: We are looking for an Experiential Designer to join our Global Experiential Marketing function. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the creative development and environmental execution for tentpole moments (such as SXSW and CES), co-branded activations with top Consumer Entertainment companies, retail and experiential incubation initiatives, and the Swag program. Experiential blurs the lines of B2B and B2C to engage our varied audiences and prove our relevance to entertainment fans worldwide - from creators, industry contacts, media, and influencers to investors, employees, and consumers. Our work is steeped in strategy, immerses visitors in the difference delivers, and leaves a lasting impression. This role will work closely with project-specific cross-functional teams of technical, brand, content, marketing, product, and engineering colleagues. This role will also mentor and develop junior designers, manage vendors, and ensure all projects have a through-line to overarching brand/design strategy. Responsibilities *Lead 2D, digital, and environmental creative development and execution for immersive in-person experiences for varied B2B and B2C audiences *Work closely with event managers and stakeholders to understand needs and goals, then develop creative, innovative experiences to meet them *Manage internal and external design resources to complete work *Manage timelines to ensure projects are completed within scope *Stay up to date on the latest trends in experiential design and technology; inform the Experiential Technical Team's incubation of fresh ideas *Travel up to 30% Qualifications *8+ years of experience in consumer-facing experiential design *Strong creative and problem-solving skills *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Ability to work independently and as part of a team *Demonstrated ability to handle high-visibility, complex projects *Adept at working on multiple projects simultaneously *Outstanding storytelling capabilities and presentation skills that can be utilized to sell creative concepts that inspire action and buy-in, to junior and C-level colleagues and external stakeholders *Strong strategic/conceptual thinker, able to see an initiative's big picture, and eager to engage in strategic discussions *Ability to interpret a brief and develop work that addresses business goals *Proven knowledge and experience with Adobe tools including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, CAD, rendering tools and as well as experience in MS Office Suite *A genuine passion for entertainment and/or entertainment technology *Bachelor's degree in design, art, or a related field Preferred Qualifications *Experience with immersive technologies, virtual reality, and/or augmented/extended reality *Experience with live events production *Experience with retail environmental design, including UX *An understanding of the Consumer Entertainment market *Skills* Ux design, Ui design, Visual design, Product design, User experience, Design, Demos, UX research, Experiential Design, Industrial Design, 3d design, Illustration *Top Skills Details* Ux design, Ui design, Visual design, Product design, User experience, Design, Demos *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 2. Experiential (Environmental) Designer *Length: Through the end of our fiscal year (September 30, 2025), with the possibility of extension depending on budget reviews. *Hours: 40 hours/week. *Location: Bay Area-based, with occasional onsite presence at 1275 Market Street office in San Francisco. *Travel: Occasional travel (~15%), typically day trips (e.g., Las Vegas). *Budget: Open to seeing market rates. *Key Experience: oStrong experience with consumer-facing experiential design. oAbility to lead environmental creative development for tentpole events like SXSW and CES. oExperience managing vendors, internal/external design resources, and timelines. oExpertise in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, rendering tools, and strong storytelling/presentation skills. oA genuine passion for entertainment and immersive experiences. Strong portfoloios, Enterprise or Entertainment Media Company background preferred - Per hiring manager *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
