Compensation: The base pay of the budgeted range is $20.00per hour. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
FUNCTION: Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Intern, Branch ITM Representative is responsible for assisting members in conducting financial transactions through the Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). This role serves as a digital member support, ensuring members receive prompt, accurate, and friendly service while using ITMs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Member Assistance
* Greet and assist members at the ITM station, providing support with transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers.
* Guide members through the ITM process and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
* Educate members on the benefits and functionalities of ITM and other self-service tools.
* Provide excellent member service, ensuring a positive experience during each interaction.
Operational Support
* Monitor ITM area to ensure it is clean, organized, and functioning properly.
* Work closely with branch team and IT support to report and resolve any ITM issues.
* Ensure transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with credit union policies.
Sales and Referral Support
* Identify opportunities to refer products and services that meet member needs.
* Assist with appointment setting or handoffs to branch specialists for further consultation.
Other Duties
* Follow all WCU policies and procedures including compliance and fraud prevention practices.
* Support branch operations as needed, including assisting with lobby traffic and light teller duties if required.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Other Duties:
- Adhere to all WCU policies and procedures which include security compliance and following guidelines intended to limit risk exposure to fraud and losses.
- Participate in department and/or organizational projects as directed.
- Perform other tasks or functions as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality of all member and credit union information and data.
- Regularly demonstrate behaviors as defined by the credit union's Fundamentals, which are part of the Workers Way culture program.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Present enrollment in paralegal program or legal curriculum at educational establishment preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience or knowledge with probate, estate accounts, creditor's rights, etc. preferred.
- Familiarity with reading, analyzing and interpreting laws, regulations and procedure manuals.
- Experience with ability to read, analyze, and interpret laws, regulations and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical and data gathering skills preferred.
- Must be well -organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe required.
- Experience with Lexis Nexis preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- On-Site Environment: This role involves working in an on-site environment, interacting directly with employees at Littleton Headquarters.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This is a largely sedentary role.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and to reach with hands and arms.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier/scanner, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
