Overview

Hyland is looking for an experienced Salesforce Solution Engineer to join our Quote to Cash Product Line team within our Information Systems department. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and building solutions within Hyland's Salesforce platform with a focus on configuring CPQ to optimize the quote and order lifecycle. Qualified candidates will be knowledgeable in Salesforce administration, declarative customizations, implementing and supporting managed packages, interfacing with business stakeholders, and will thrive on building problem solving solutions for our business partners. What you will be doing

    Design, prototype, build and configure solutions based on feedback from product line stakeholders and SMEs with minimal oversight from team members and according to best practices
  • Lead business analysis sessions where information about business process and concerns are gathered from key internal business stakeholders and technical expertise is provided to guide agreed upon solution
  • Compose documentation outlining requirements for building the proposed solution and present your findings to business stakeholders for validation and approval
  • Test business applications and ensure performance is optimal and resolve any issues; advise business customer on testing practices
  • Develop plan for migration; migrate business applications into production environment and support business customer throughout migration process
  • Ensure all solutions are developed and documented in a manner that allows for ease of maintenance by our support team
  • Assist with estimating work effort involved in developing solutions
  • Provide accurate and timely communication to leadership and business stakeholders including status updates, anticipated delays and blockers
  • Compose training materials and conduct training sessions for end users, with minimal oversight from team members
  • Identify, review and evaluate enhancements to product functionality; escalate appropriate enhancement requests to evolve software
  • Transition key information to application support team to ensure continued successful support of internal business customer
  • Provide implementation and peer review feedback to other team members
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy


What will make you successful

  • Experience administering Salesforce, including all declarative functionality
  • Experience working with Lightning Web Components, Flow and Process Builder are required.
  • Experience with programmatic capabilities using Apex is beneficial but not required.
  • Salesforce CPQ experience or experience with the quote and order process is beneficial but not required
  • Experience in implementing integrations with managed packages and other business applications.
  • Experience in business analysis and documenting functional requirements
  • Experience configuring and implementing a technical solution
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
  • Strong at investigating situations or issues to get relevant information; adept at asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information
  • Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately manage project scope, compact project timelines and set customer expectations appropriately
  • Able to effectively manage a consistent customer-oriented project workload; effectively communicates project delays to management team and proactively seeks additional customer project work
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects and internal initiatives
  • Up to 5% travel time required
  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
  • Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $119,000-$134,000 and eligible for benefits
