Requisition ID req33458 Working Title Admin Assistant 3 Position Grade 08 Position Summary The Office of Academic Affairs is seeking an experienced, goal-oriented, resourceful, and self-motivated Administrative Assistant 3. The selected candidate will coordinate, oversee and/or perform a wide variety of administrative functions in support of the Office of the Academic Affairs. The selected candidate will also serve as a point of contact for internal and external constituencies who are contacting the office and will also serve as primary point of contact for the office's two Associate Provosts. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work in a professional, fast paced environment. Responsibilities will include performing and/or oversight of a variety of administrative support responsibilities and planning activities, including providing administrative support to the Associate Provosts. This support includes managing the schedule/calendar, setting up meetings and taking minutes, preparing travel, handling telephone communications, and assisting with written correspondence. May also assist with routine HR transactions. It is essential in this position that the selected candidate have excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, and a willingness to learn and work in a team environment. The selected candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. These individuals may work with highly sensitive and confidential information. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
