Location: Remote or On-Site

Hourly Pay: $19

This position is bonus eligible

Work Schedule: Full time 40 hrs./wk. M-F Flex Schedule 7am - 7pm after training.

JOB SUMMARY

The Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle - Claim Prep and File - Commercial Billing Representative prepares the patient accounts for claim filing by completing the initial review and prep work. Then moves the account for any additional steps needed to file the claim.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Provides excellent customer service.
• Manage claim filing.
• Work to achieve team and development goals.
• Work efficiently as a team member
• Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a Healthcare/Revenue Cycle medical billing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Office 365
• Must Possess professional and empathic written and verbal communication skills
• Must be customer focused and adaptable to different personality types

• Must have/maintain a HIPPA compliant workspace with both audio and visual protection of patient information.
• Must be able to work uninterrupted while on the clock

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year working in a customer service position
• Above average knowledge of Commercial billing guidelines

Preferred Education:

• High school diploma
• GED
• Or significant, relevant work experience
