Job Title: Piping Design Technician - Intermediate

Duration: 6 months

Location: Hybrid - Indianapolis, IN

Client is seeking a Piping Design Technician - Intermediate with experience in SPID/S3D design to support projects in the Pharma, Biotech, or Oil & Gas industries. The role will focus on developing and modifying 3D models, redlining P&IDs, and generating reports using SPID and S3D. This is a six-month W-2 contract assignment with no conversion possibility.

• 2-4 years of experience in SPID/S3D piping design.
• Experience in the Pharma, Biotech, or Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficient with Intergraph software (SPID/S3D).
• Ability to redline and develop P&IDs and AF&IDs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Develop and modify SPID/S3D models for process and mechanical systems.
• Draft and revise piping layouts, P&IDs, and equipment arrangements.
• Generate data reports from SPID/S3D.
• Assist in preparing lists and progress reports for project leads.
• Support design activities based on field verification and project objectives.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other design disciplines.
