DESCRIPTION OF WORK
-
In this role, you will perform semi-skilled tasks, either independently or in support of a skilled trade worker. Your responsibilities will include operating various construction, groundskeeping, and maintenance tools and equipment, often utilizing skills developed through hands-on experience. You will carry out minor repairs and routine groundskeeping and custodial tasks with a significant degree of independence, with your work being reviewed upon completion. More complex construction or repair activities will be conducted under the guidance of a skilled trade worker or supervisor.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Schedule may change based on operational need.
- This position may require overtime.
- Free parking is available.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
