TITLE

Associate Director, Dallas Enrollment Services & One Stop

JOB SUMMARY

The Associate Director of Dallas Enrollment Services & One Stop plays a pivotal role in enhancing student enrollment, success, and retention across a range of undergraduate and graduate academic programs. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic enrollment initiatives, providing empathetic and solution-oriented support to students, and advocating for resources that improve the overall student experience. Reporting directly to the President of the TWU Dallas Campus, the Associate Director collaborates closely with departments across the university to ensure a seamless, supportive, and student-centered environment tailored to the diverse needs of the Dallas campus population.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Dallas Campus President; dotted line to VP of Enrollment Management

Supervises: Student Assistants

ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but not limited to the following:



  1. Develop and execute comprehensive enrollment strategies tailored to the unique demographics and academic offerings of the TWU Dallas Campus, including both undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing, health sciences, and other professional fields. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the differing enrollment cycles, communication strategies, and support services needed for undergraduate versus graduate student populations. Collaborate with the TWU System's Enrollment Management division to align campus initiatives with university-wide goals.
  2. Utilize data analytics to monitor enrollment trends, student retention rates, and resource allocation effectiveness. Disaggregate data by academic program level (undergraduate and graduate) to make targeted, evidence-based decisions that support recruitment and persistence. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to campus leadership to inform policy, planning, and program development.
  3. Serve as a primary advocate for students, addressing academic, financial, social, and personal challenges that impact student enrollment with empathy and care. Implement and manage programs and services that foster a welcoming and supportive campus environment, promoting holistic student well-being and success. Serve as a resource and referral point for students in crisis, ensuring they are connected to appropriate university or community support services.
  4. Lead and oversee the Dallas Enrollment Services One Stop team, ensuring high-quality, student-centered support in admissions, financial aid, registration, and general student services. Foster a culture of empathy, efficiency, and accountability within the team, emphasizing clear communication and proactive service. Coordinate staff training, performance evaluation, and professional development to ensure a knowledgeable and responsive team. Collaborate with university-wide enrollment leadership to align practices, improve processes, and elevate service standards.
  5. Identify and advocate for student-facing resources that support retention, including academic assistance, financial wellness programs, mental health, and career services-tailored to the needs of both undergraduate and graduate students. Collaborate with Dallas Student Life to promote student utilization of campus resources. Manage budgetary priorities related to enrollment and student support initiatives, ensuring strategic use of available resources.
  6. Build partnerships with local high schools, community colleges, healthcare organizations, and community groups to promote TWU Dallas programs and recruit prospective students. Coordinate events and outreach efforts to raise awareness of the Dallas Campus's undergraduate and graduate offerings and connect prospective students to appropriate services.
  7. Regularly assess the effectiveness of enrollment and student success programs, adjusting strategies in response to student feedback and institutional data. Stay current on best practices and trends in higher education-particularly in the fields of nursing, health sciences, and professional graduate education-and implement innovative solutions to improve student recruitment, retention, and satisfaction.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, communication, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years of experience in enrollment management, student services, or higher education administration.

REQUIREMENT

Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.

* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

* Strong commitment to equity and inclusion in student engagement and program development.

* Proactive, self-starter requiring limited supervision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Supervisors and employees should ensure that injury/accident reports are submitted to the Office of Human Resources and Risk Management within 24 hours of the incident.
