Position Summary:



YUHSB is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated High School Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education and a passion for promoting student wellness, fitness, and sportsmanship. This role involves engaging students in physical activities, teaching health-related topics, and fostering an active and inclusive learning environment.



Position Responsibilities:




  • Teach a variety of physical activities, fitness exercises, and sports to students of varying skill levels
  • Promote lifelong health, wellness, and physical fitness through engaging instruction
  • Assess and evaluate student performance based on effort, participation, and skill development
  • Maintain an organized and safe gymnasium or outdoor activity space
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student well-being
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events



Experience & Educational Background:




  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Passion for physical fitness and promoting student health
