Customer Service Representative

Staffmark is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced logistics company in Bolingbrook, IL. This is your chance to be the heartbeat of daily operations and keep supply chains running smoothly.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Rotating weekends may be required based on business needs

Responsibilities:

• Answer high-volume inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and efficiency
• Monitor shipments, pickups, and deliveries for on-time and accurate execution
• Communicate updates with drivers, customers, account managers, and receivers
• Take check calls and maintain real-time updates in the system
• Manage and document overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
• Schedule and adjust delivery appointments as needed
• Provide routing instructions and troubleshoot delivery delays

What You'll Bring:

• At least 1 year of experience in logistics or transportation customer service
• Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple priorities at once
• Basic understanding of transportation operations and shipping documentation
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing demands
• Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to learn quickly
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
