Machine Maintenance Technician

Staffmark is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Urbana, OH, to hire a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician. If you have a strong mechanical background and enjoy solving problems in a hands-on environment, this is your opportunity to grow with a respected team.

Pay: $23.03 - $27.88 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM | Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Support production personnel and molding technicians
• Perform preventative maintenance and general machine repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Inspect and maintain injection molding equipment
• Complete maintenance projects, including occasional work on rooftops or silos
• Track maintenance inventory and order supplies as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with GMPs and safety procedures
• Train other technicians as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and machine controls
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and work at heights using lifts
• Comfortable with frequent climbing, standing, and working on concrete floors
• Above-average attendance and strong work ethic
• Positive, professional attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
