Banbury Operator

Staffmark is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Banbury Operator to join a leading manufacturer in Delphos, OH. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a focus on quality and safety in an industrial setting.

Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, with occasional Fridays

As a Banbury Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a Banbury mixer-an essential machine used to blend rubber compounds, additives, and fillers into a uniform mixture for further processing. This role is critical to ensuring consistent quality in the production of rubber and plastic materials.

Responsibilities:

• Start, stop, and adjust machine settings for optimal mixing (temperature, time, speed).
• Measure and load raw materials according to specified formulas.
• Ensure mixtures reach the correct consistency; adjust settings as needed.
• Visually inspect materials and address any irregularities.
• Clean and maintain equipment; identify and report wear or mechanical issues.
• Log batch data, including materials used and machine settings.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations during operations.

What You'll Bring:

• Previous experience operating industrial mixers or in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment
