Staffmark is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join a global forging company in South Gate, CA. We're
looking for a skilled candidate with hands-on experience in air compressors, hydraulics, overhead cranes, and electrical systems. If you're a problem-solver who thrives in a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00/hour (Based on experience)

Shifts: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays



  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM



Responsibilities:



  • Diagnose and repair machinery and mechanical equipment with minimal supervision
  • Disassemble and inspect parts to identify wear, imperfections, or dimensional changes
  • Adjust, repair, or replace components in hydraulic, pneumatic, and conditioning equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate records of equipment performance
  • Install special functional or structural parts, lubricate and clean machinery
  • Test equipment performance after repairs
  • Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical literature
  • Monitor operating conditions and use hand tools as required



Qualifications:



  • Associate degree or technical certification preferred; equivalent experience accepted
  • 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in reading hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and mechanical blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Basic math and geometry knowledge; ability to calculate measurements and interpret data
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical demands of the job
