Bag Machine Operator

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

As a Bag Machine Operator, you'll begin by learning the basics of machine operation and quality testing. As your skills grow, so will your responsibilities-advancing into more complex machine tasks. You'll play a critical role in keeping production running smoothly while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate hoists, conveyors, and other machinery safely and effectively
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance when needed
• Perform and document quality checks
• Print labels and complete necessary production documentation
• Ensure seamless shift changeovers
• Use computer systems to manage operations
• Work in an environment where cornstarch dust may be present
• Stand and walk for long periods throughout your shift

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of recent machine operation experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass a basic math skills test
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable using computers to run machinery
