As the Health Information Manager you are the internal consultant on health information management issues such as managing staff, regulatory compliance, coding, and release of information. You will be critical in protecting resident sensitive information and serving as a link between the community and providers.



Responsibilities

    The Health Information Manager audits charts and observations to ensure compliance.
  • The Health Information Manager serves as Privacy and Security officer by maintaining rules and protect against breach of confidentiality and HIPAA violations.


Qualifications

  • Experience in health information services
  • Experience in administrative and staff management
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
