Job Description
Edgecombe County Public Schools - 2311 N. Main Street Tarboro, NC 27886 - is currently seeking several Federal Work Study students to serve as Class Assistants:

  • Accept and implement feedback from the teacher to improve instructional practices.
  • Collaborate with fellow tutors and the classroom teacher to plan instruction and group students effectively.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and a commitment to student success.


Up to 10-15 hours per week, based on availability.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Requirements:

  • Must have been awarded "ECU Summer Federal Work Study Award"
  • Strong academic skills and ability to connect with and motivate students.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.


Prior experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required.
Elementary Majors preferred.
