Japanese Bilingual Sales & Operations Manager, Corporate Services
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-time, Exempt
Work Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm with overtime
Position Summary:
A Japanese corporate service company is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Sales & Operations Manager in Boston, MA. You will act as a "playing manager", leading your team while also directly supporting clients. You'll be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, driving new business inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Boston branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Office & Sales Management:
* Manage daily operations and sales performance of the Boston office staff.
* Set and achieve sales targets, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Client Consultation & Support:
* Act as a primary point of contact for clients, offering expert advice and guidance over the phone and via video calls.
* Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements.
* Research and identify suitable options, presenting detailed information to clients.
* Coordinate and conduct in-person viewings for clients.
* Negotiate on behalf of clients to secure favorable outcomes.
* Provide comprehensive support for clients throughout their journey, including assistance with essential setup and ongoing problem resolution.
* Proactively follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage contract renewals.
Business Development & Relationship Management:
* Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing corporate clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
* Identify and pursue new corporate partnerships to expand our client base.
* Coordinate and support client-focused seminars and events.
Administrative & Reporting:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in CRM and Excel spreadsheets.
* Record and track all client interactions and activities.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
* Bilingual Japanese and English skills (reading, writing and speaking) to communicate with clients who are mainly Japanese expatriates.
* Previous experience in sales and/or operations leadership roles, specifically within the corporate services industry (e.g., facility management, office solutions, corporate relocation, catering, HR services, etc.).
* Proven experience in a management role, with a track record of leading teams and achieving sales targets.
* Exceptional client service and relationship management skills.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
* Willingness to obtain the industry license within 3 months of employment (with company's expense).
