Quality Inspector

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? Staffmark is hiring a Quality Inspector for a manufacturing facility in Covington, GA. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that every glass bottle meets the highest standards before reaching our customers.

Pay Rate: $16.25/hour

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts

• 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Shifts rotate every 2 weeks
• Workdays: Monday - Thursday and Thursday - Sunday (shifts alternate every 8 weeks)
• Includes weekends and some holidays

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspections of glass bottles to verify compliance with quality standards (e.g., dimensions, thickness, clarity)
• Use precision measuring tools and perform visual checks to identify any defects or inconsistencies
• Document findings accurately and maintain clear records of inspections and test results
• Collaborate with production teams to address and correct quality issues
• Uphold safety and cleanliness protocols in the inspection area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify even subtle product defects
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Commitment to maintaining safety and quality assurance standards
