We're hiring a Mechanical Assembler in Houston, TX for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading innovator in fluid control technologies. Pay & Schedule

Hourly Pay: $21-$22 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Be Doing



  • Assemble finished products, components, and sub-assemblies including relief valves, chemical injection pumps, and control valves
  • Use torque wrenches and hand tools to ensure precise fittings
  • Follow test procedures and safety protocols (OSHA standards)
  • Utilize ERP systems (Oracle) for inventory tracking, WIP transactions, and material reporting
  • Assist with product testing, quality audits, and process improvements
  • Train and mentor less experienced assemblers
  • Participate in daily shift meetings and root-cause problem-solving
  • Maintain high ethical standards and promote a safety-first culture

What You Bring to the Table



  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly and testing-preferably with oil and gas components
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software (Oracle, Windchill)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and team mindset
  • Ability to train others, identify quality variances, and follow standard work across multiple production cells
